Job Burnout and Reduced Personal Accomplishment Among Health Sector Employees During COVID-19 Pandemic

Background: Job burnout is a prolonged response to chronic emotional and interpersonal stressors. Objectives: This study aimed evaluate job identify its effective predictors among health sector employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: cross-sectional encompassed 1898 of Shahid Beheshti University Medical Sciences in summer 2020. Logistic regression was used determine factors associated with burnout. The required data were collected electronically using Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) analyzed SPSS software version 26 R4.0.2 software. Results: Of participants, 74.3% female. Composite (CJB), exhaustion (EE), depersonalization (DP) most common at low levels, whereas reduced personal accomplishment (RPA) frequent moderate levels. In this regard, such as female gender, age groups 40 - 49 ≥ 50 years, exposure main independent risk for Conclusions: Reduced despite relatively levels burnout, EE, DP. Accordingly, interventions are suggested improve different aspects work-life an emphasis on critical situations.
